1960s Vintage French Schiffli Lace Peter Pan Collar, Sew-On Collar, Sewing Supply

This sweet little 1960's lace Peter Pan collar was a happy find. It features a daisy pattern in Schiffli style (chemical lace) giving it a wonderful texture.

Details:

1. The Neckline: This collar is finished with a soft, cotton bias binding.
2. The Color: It is white but shows yellowing around the neck line although I don't think it has ever been worn.
3. The Shape: A classic Peter Pan style

Condition Note: This little collar shows its history through its "as found" vintage charm.

1. Structure: The main lace body is strong but there are what I think are little holes please see photo's 2 and 3 which shows a dark thread caught in the binding. There is also a little fraying to the edges and a few loose threads in the lace embroidery.
2. Patina: Natural yellowing which add to its authentic antique character.
